Last year i recorded what I thought was my appalling luck with any die based game. Didn't turn out as bad as expected with me winning some occasionally so I thought if any one was willing we could do something similar with us all recording any games we played?

I've started the year with style promptly losing to Mike on a first bottle roll gang fight, supposedly its a NEW year!?! so

Gary 0 - 0 - 1 and Mike 1 - 0 - 0

didn't see results of other games as it sounded like everyone lost!

Me, Mike and Simon returned to the xmas tree to get our presents. Santa gave me a melta bomb and a bio booster, Simon learn't never to gamble and a bionic leg, and Mike got a blunt knife and a stub pistol with a posh sight on it.

Xmas is a gig con!

Gary   0 - 1 - 1

Mike   1 - 1 - 0

Simon  0 - 1 - 0.

For once I didn't suffer from first time bottle roll. Survived two before Ray failed! (His first, has to happen to someone)

Beat Pass, as he bunched up nicely for a flamer shot (which wasn't that good in the long run), but disruptive enough to allow the rest of my guards to get stuck in.

Invented a Bionic and a Grav Chute and got offered - a Bionic and a Grav Chute!

Simon 1-1-0

I declare an undefeated year, and stop playing now.;)

Flamers..... next time I'm taking redemptionists!

Still, first win of the campaign! A cheap victory, but a victory none-the-less.

On the way to unlimited heavy bolter ammo!

Mike voluntarily ran off after a decent round of shooting from me (admittedly he had 3 [or 4]) Down on the floor, waiting to be kicked in the head).  Sent a ganger off to Gary's to be hurt, so I could Bottle, but ended up having to shoot my way out, as the downed Juve decided to feel better, and Gary managed to fail his first Bottle test - again!

Got another Old Ruin, so still can't earn any money

Bloody stupid game.  Gary decided to rescue his Brand New Heavy, and decimated my gang, not helped by me rolling a stupid amouint of 1's for 2+/3+ shots (twice with the Leader's Frag to hit 3 people).

Ended up with all but one of the gang OOA, as as I couldn't bottle, just kept feeding them.

Net result, 4 dead (including the Grav-chuter), gang rating cut by lots, still no money so I can't afford to rebuild, and a loss of desire to play Necro for a long time.

Considering how bad that went for you I was expecting to have to do the notes myself! Hopefully a game of hunt the witch might cheer you up.

P.S. In the depth of your depression you forgot the

Really does seem with Necro that if you don't get a decent spread of territories at the start, you'll find yourself coming unstuck.  If I had the 5 starting territories of my old Jackheads gang (which would give me somewhere around 150 creds before expenses) I'd be happy to rebuild - as it is, I'm lucky to be able to afford common weapons!

Thank f**k we don't play the "proper" Disarm rules!

You're beginning to sound like me!! Especially after every tournament we attend.

Do I keep all the weapons I disarm in the new rules?

No, they just "die", but that's bad enough.

Two weeks in one, Last week me, Mike and Simon had a witch hunt. I brought along eight wyrds made up to around 120 points each (my old wyrd gang) and we put them into a hat. We picked two each and then played last one standing. (We had a scenario but came no where near achieving it). Simon was the eventual winner with Mike being possessed as the high point as it destroyed me and almost took Simon out. I will hopefully put the piccies and the stats in the gallery so they can be used again.

Gary 2-1-3, Mike 1-1-2 and Simon 3-1-1

This week BLOODBOWL is back, hooray.

I played Mike, Chaos pact vs Goblin and it was a blood bath. I won one nil however he killed three marauders, one minotaur, one troll and one ogre. I'm sure its not supposed to happen like that. In turn I killed his ball and chain, his chainsword, his pogo and a troll who regen'ed plus assorted little green things. We caused more casualties in one game than both of us done at the last spiky!!

Mike 1-1-3 (missing some results?) and Gary 3-1-3

Another blood bath on our side of the table, with CJ losing 5 f his hummies, and me losing 4 Dark Elves (plus a Witch who refused to leave the KO box).  Won 2-1 when we only had 6 or 7-a-side.

Beat Mike and his goblins, and it looks like I've so put him off the little guys, he's threatening to take a "proper" team - I don't know what's the matter with him.

Gary beat CJ.

Mike 1-1-4 (missing some results?)

Gary 4-1-3

Simon 5-1-1

CJ 0-0-2

My DEs vs Pass's Norse Dwarfs... sorry, Norse.  Back and forth game - if in tourney mode should probably have delayed scoring for longer, and should have risked the short (which I though would have been a long) pass in the last turn.  A success would have given me a 3-1 win, and even a scatter or fumble would have made it more difficult for Pass to equalise, but I went with what I thought was the safer option, double skulled, and Pass pulled of the play to go 2-2.

Good game though.

Gary beat Ray 2-1

Gary 5-1-3

Simon 5-2-1
